Resolved on
the model.
Engineering is not a document produced before construction. It is the part of construction that decides how much of the rest goes wrong.
Drawn here,
built here.
MAB produces its own shop drawings, 3D models and clash detection. The engineering organisation sits inside the contracting business, not beside it.
The practical consequence is ownership. When the team that models the coordination is the team that installs it, a clash found on screen is a cost avoided rather than a variation claimed.
Shop drawings
Produced in-house for the disciplines MAB installs, so the drawing reflects how the work will actually be built.
BIM & 3D modelling
Coordinated models across structure, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and ELV.
Clash detection
Interferences identified and resolved in the model — not discovered by a fitter with a drawing that does not fit.
Delivery starts
with our people.
Technical, commercial and site functions working together. Engineering. Coordination. Execution.
- 01Engineering-led coordinationExperienced engineers support shop drawings, service routing and interfaces between structural, architectural and building-services works.
- 02Multidisciplinary teamsManagers, engineers, specialists and site teams bring practical knowledge across construction packages and working environments.
- 03Planning & project controlsProject management and controls functions support coordinated execution, resource planning and delivery priorities.
- 04Procurement & contractsProcurement, purchasing and contract administration connect technical requirements with supply and site execution.
How a package
actually runs.
Seven stages, applied consistently across contracts of different size and scope.
The seven delivery stages
Engineering
Shop drawings, 3D modelling and clash detection produced in-house, resolving coordination between structure, MEP and ELV before construction begins.
Procurement
Materials, equipment and specialist supply secured against approved specifications, supported by MAB’s own trading division where it shortens the chain.
Coordination
Alignment of architectural, engineering, cost and schedule requirements — and of the trades that have to work in the same space — ahead of mobilisation.
Execution
Construction under daily supervision, with site control, safety management and progress reporting against programme.
QA / QC
Inspection and quality control applied throughout delivery under an ISO 9001:2015 quality framework, with records maintained as work proceeds.
Testing & commissioning
Systems tested and commissioned — particularly MEP, fire, ELV and AV — so that installed scope is demonstrated working, not merely installed.
Handover
Final inspections, project documentation, client approval and closeout completed as a defined stage of the contract.

at engineering.
The earlier a contractor sees the model, the less of the programme is spent correcting it.
